So draws to a close another chapter of life. There have been good times and bad times as in almost all life events. If there wasn't well life just wouldn't be interesting would it. Today drew to a close a major event I have some video and pictures that may be shown but there are others that cannot. sadly today carried its own bad news with it. More waiting. Got to love hurry up and wait.
I just wish to say please keep the troops from Ft Hood in your prayers both home and abroad. It is one thing for a soldier to give his life in the line of duty in a foreign country. Its another for him to give his life inside the United States defending his rights and the rights of others. But a soldier should not have to worry about having his life taken by a fellow soldier while home. I wish I could say never worry about having his life taken by a fellow soldier but sadly stupidity kills and far to often its the innocent that suffer over the guilty.
May the soldiers of the 1st Cav find peace in their homes once more. May the families hold strong together in their trying time on base. And may the innocent not be punished for the sins of guilty.

lol i love and miss you so much. this deployment served its purpose, you got to fight for your country and i am so proud of you but i'm ready for you to be home.
and hopefully we won't be counting down to the next one anytime soon.
