countdown?

kind of. i have sort of started a countdown for homecoming. i have a rough date for when they should be leaving iraq. but they will have to go through kuwait, germany, and ft. dix, new jersey before reaching florida again. the hope still is that they will be home by the end of november. we are both so ready for this deployment to be over. while this deployment hasn't been near as difficult as i thought it would be, i'm still ready to actually have some time with my husband. i'm ready to get settled in and figure this whole "married thing" out lol. of course that will happen a day at a time over our lifetime but i feel like we're kind of frozen right now. we had hardly any experience living together. i'm just ready to have him home and he's ready to be home. sadly he'll miss his birthday (october 22nd) and our one year wedding anniversary (october 30th) but we'll make up for it when he returns.
