so i get to go to florida the weekend after thanksgiving. jesse will go active duty that weekend and has to go to florida before he mobilizes so they're having a goodbye celebration there. not ideal circumstances but the extra time with jesse will be nice. i just wish we had the time to stay longer. i'm going with jesse's parents and they have to be back at work monday morning. i took that day off cause i assumed it would be a travel day but i guess i'll use it to study. we're not even going to be able to stay for any of the real activities, we're only going to get to sit through the same briefings i heard back in july. i'm upset but i know i should just be thankful that i'm getting to go. jennie (a coworker) is going to see if she can help me stay longer but i'm trying not to get my hopes up. i won't see her again til friday so we will see. i just hope all goes well that weekend...
